This is an intermediate Brazilian Embroidery design.
Florida’s autumn bloom amongst the oak trees. Majestic oak
trees, with lots of texture including a braid stitch, are
beset with masses of Spanish moss set the stage for this
autumn scene. A delightful squirrel is posed with an acorn.
Flowers include daisies, lilies, crocus, Echinacea, autumn
blush, clivia, and sedum. A great white egret is peering
from the cat tails and tall grasses. The only floss
needed during class is a few strands of Lola, Boucle,
Iris and Glory. Stitches included are bullion, buttonhole,
braid, hopper, cast-on, double cast-on, couching, drizzle
with a bead, fly, lazy daisy, reverse lazy daisy, modified
leaf satin, padded satin, satin, French knot, turkey, stem,
outline, couching, and straight.
