Say hello to Louie, our sun conure (parrot). We enjoy his bright colors and playful antics. He loves being outdoors a part of every day. Many thanks to Rosalie for creating the interlocked stem stitch and giving me permission to teach the stitch in this design. The interlocked stem stitch is used in the oval border. Another similar but very different stitch is the raised stem stitch used in the branch.
