A delightful portrait of a brave horse adorned with a feathered headdress. The horse mane consists of several long bullions. There are two different woven techniques in this design, one amid the feathers, and the other in the side band of the bridle. The bridle centerpiece in the top head band has a medallion with a padded satin center, stitched in stacked outline surrounded by Palestrina knots and sports several feathers. The feathers are stitched with fly stitches.
