Enjoy stitching this exotic Brazilian Walking Iris known as Regina. It features a tube like centerpiece of stamens splitting out at the top and a couple of thin striped lines for each side around. Each petal portrays majestic colors of mauve and gold cast-ons, stems, and couching stitches radiating from the centerpiece out a short ways then finished with buttonhole and dotted with French knots. Each flower contains three large petals and three small curled petals (stump work). It has a fascinating bud that bursts open first with a bud trio which eventually bursts into full bloom.
